It's Time
A Little About Me, Alison!
I am a Family Dynamics & Neurodiversity Strategist passionate about helping families authentically and genuinely thrive. With an understanding of the intricacies of family relationships and the beautiful complexity of neurodiversity, I'm here to guide you towards more peaceful, calm, balanced and fulfilling family life.
With over 20 years of experience with neurodiversity, teaching and supporting families, I've had the privilege of helping families navigate their unique challenges. My expertise spans a wide range of areas, including:
- ADHD, ASD and 2E children
- Building resilience in families
- Improving parent-child communication
- Understanding and embracing neurodiversity
- Supporting behaviour guidance
- Strengthening family bonds through meaningful interactions
At The Incremental Shift, I believe in the power of small, consistent changes to create significant improvements in family dynamics. My approach is rooted in empathy, evidence-based strategies, and the understanding that every family is unique. I work collaboratively with parents to develop strategies that respect individual needs while fostering a supportive family environment.
When I'm not working with families, you can find me reading, in the garden, holidaying with my family and doing lots of dishes! These moments of connection (yep, even doing the dishes!) and creativity fuel my passion for helping other families find their own paths to joy and understanding.
